PARCC Parent Information Night
Jacobs Elementary School and Memorial Middle School will host a PARCC information night for the parents and guardians of students in Grades K through 8 on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Memorial Middle school.
PARCC is the new standardized test in English Language Arts and Math that will replace the current state test we all know as MCAS. There are several ways that PARCC is different from MCAS. Most notably, PARCC is a computer based test.
At the information night we will be able to answer questions, address concerns, and assist families with understanding the differences between the tests as well as the preparation students need to be ready for the new test. All parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend.
